“I would say I’ve played a good couple of games here. It’s always nice to play games in Australia. I wish I could have gone a little further, but I still gave it my all today. It wasn’t enough, but it’s time to get back to work. It was definitely fun to play in front of the Australian fans and get a couple of wins here. As for ranking, rankings show your performance. Obviously I would like to win some titles and improve in the Grand Slams, you always strive to be the best.”

-What do you take away from your time in Australia since the United Cup?

“I would say there are definitely a lot of positives. There have been improvements in certain aspects. I know that we will take that with my team and that there are still things to improve. So we’ll just keep persevering. We are on the right way”.

– What has made you a player who never stops progressing?

“I know I got a lot of experience from that, from the previous games. But, in addition to continuing to train, continue to improve and trust in the process, I have been learning and understanding myself better on the court and then trying to use my skills better.”
