Sabine Schöffmann took advantage of the home advantage at Simonhöhe on Saturday. The 31-year-old from Carinthia won the RTL and celebrated her seventh World Cup victory. In the final, Schöffmann prevailed against the Czech Zuzana Maderova, who fell in the lower part. Daniela Ulbing was eliminated in the quarterfinals, which meant sixth place in the final standings.
In the men’s category, two ÖSV boarders were allowed on the podium: Benjamin Karl came second after a defeat in the final against the Italian Daniele Bagozza, and Fabian Obmann came third with a success in the small final against Roland Filehner (ITA).
