Guanajuato’s Matías Grande Shines at Pan American Games in Santiago 2023

Editorial.- The representative of Guanajuato, Matías Grande, has experienced a dream Pan American Games by placing himself in the dispute for three medals in his recurve bow specialty in Santiago 2023.

Later, in the quarterfinals they did the same against the Independent Athletes duo made up of Nancy Enriquez and Thomas Flossbach, defeating them 5-3.

Finally in the semifinal they faced off against the Brazilian squad with Ana Machado and Marcus D Almeida, there the Cariocas were better, after losing the first set with a shot of seven the aim improved to score only nines and tens in the three sets remaining and thus surpass the Mexicans with a score of 6-2.

With these results, Matías Grande will compete this Saturday in the men’s team final against the United States and the bronze against Colombia in Mixed, while at the closing of Santiago 2023 next Sunday he will seek to be on the winners’ podium of the individual event.
