The Municipal Sports Schools of the León City Council schedule different activities for this weekend.
On this occasion they will take place in the form of archery (indoor competition) and badminton (Family Day), both on Saturday the 13th.
archery
The Municipal Archery Sports School, within its program of activities, plans on this occasion a ‘Room Competition’ that will take place from 4:00 p.m. in the Margarita Ramos Pavilion.
It is a championship with two series of 30 arrows at 18 meters on 80 centimeter targets, for older students. For minors, the distance will be 12 meters with 122 centimeter targets.
In the case of sports school students, the person who scores the most points after the two series of 30 arrows will win the competition.
The estimated participation is about 80 archers, including school students and federated archers who will compete at the same time, but divided into different categories: schools, under 14 years old, cadets, juniors, seniors and veterans.
Badminton
The Municipal Badminton Sports School organizes this Saturday ‘Family Day’, a day that will take place from 10:00 a.m. in the La Torre Pavilion.
The main objective of this activity is to enjoy a day of family coexistence sharing experiences about the sport of badminton, promoting respect, tolerance and camaraderie.
To this end, a tournament is organized in which teams that may be composed of only boys or girls, only parents or combined teams will play, both in singles and doubles, as well as various badminton games.
Approximately 50 participants are expected to attend this event, including boys, girls and families from different schools.
