“There were a lot of things that happened, there was a lot of tension on the court,” Jeanjean explained after his victory. Ferro’s roller coaster
Fiona Ferro wanted this qualification so much that she only managed to sleep four hours, before facing the Russian Polina Kudermetova (186th WTA). “As soon as I brought back a good intensity, it caused it to fail. So, in the third, I tried to be more aggressive, she said after her 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 victory. I was a little worried when I woke up because with only four hours of sleep, I felt like I was going to run out of energy. But ultimately, I had some left in the tank. I’m very happy to be in the final draw again, it means a lot to me. I am gradually returning to my level. »
