Footballer Kyle Walker reveals infidelity scandal and impends divorce from wife Annie Kilner

At the age of 17, Kyle Walker started a relationship with ‘soulmate’ Annie Kilner. Sixteen years later, she is pregnant with their fourth child together, although Walker realizes that their marriage is now almost certainly over after another misstep. “And all because of my idiotic choices and idiotic decisions,” the British football star said in an interview with The Sun.

Walker, the Manchester City defender who has also played 81 times for the England national team, gave the interview after it emerged that he had fathered a child out of wedlock for the second time with model Lauryn Goodman. “What I did is terrible and I take full responsibility,” it said. “The only one to blame is me. I can’t begin to imagine what Annie is going through and the pain I caused her. The man who is supposed to love her, care for her, and be there for her did something like this. I’m sorry.”

Walker and Goodman are said to have known each other since the footballer was 20, although despite her claims, Walker maintained for a long time that there had never been a relationship. It wasn’t until the model gave birth to a son in April 2020 that Walker admitted he was the father. “I remember calling Annie from the practice field to tell her the news before everything became widely reported in the press,” Walker says. “I admitted to her that I had had a one-night stand with someone. When she started yelling at me, I had to cut her off and tell her there was more. That the other woman was also pregnant with me. It was a nightmare.”

Kilner and Walker temporarily put their relationship on hold, but Kilner ultimately decided to take the footballer back for the sake of their children. “How can I hate the man my children love so much?” she declared at the time. Walker promised not to have any further contact with Goodman.

Relocation

However, in August 2022, the model decided to move and move closer to Walker again. “I met her at a law firm in an attempt to stop the move,” Walker said. Shortly afterwards, Goodman introduced him to his son Kairo for the first time, after which the two – unbeknownst to Annie Kilner – resumed contact.

In early October 2022, Walker traveled to London for groin surgery. There he again shared the sheets with Goodman. “It wasn’t intentional or premeditated, but yes, I slept with her. There are no excuses.”

And yes, this time too Goodman turned out to be pregnant. “I almost fainted when she told me, I went into survival mode. I’ve done my best to keep this a secret. Not because I’m ashamed, but because I try to be a private person. I take full responsibility for the choices I have made that have hurt others. If I could somehow go back in time, I would.”

It seems unlikely that Kilner will forgive Walker again. She has ordered him to leave their home, has already taken off her wedding ring and has already hired a lawyer.
