“During the meeting there was no mention of referees. Among the reform proposals there is also that of the refereeing sector, which however we remember has among the highest quality and professionalism in the world. There can certainly be improvements, such as professionalism on the English model, but it is a mistake to question the quality of Italian referees.” This was stated by the president of the Lega Serie A Lorenzo Casini, who spoke in a press conference at the end of today’s club meeting. “Review the interpretative rules? We have suggested having a constant check of the protocol and interpretative rules, we are available to improve the application of the rules”.
