ATP Preview Team
1) First career title? Jiri Lehecka and Alejandro Tabilo can both achieve this early in the season, as they have already reached a final. Tomas Martin Etcheverry also has a good chance of achieving this feat during the next series of clay court tournaments in South America.
2) First Grand Slam title? Jannik Sinner at Wimbledon and Holger Rune at the US Open seem to have a real possibility if Novak Djokovic runs out of steam a little.
3) In the top 10 for the first time? Alex de Minaur has already made it into the top 10 this year. Ben Shelton is in an excellent position to follow suit in the months to come.

4) Who will finish number 1 in 2024? With Novak Djokovic playing fewer tournaments at this stage of his career, Carlos Alcaraz looks set to regain the number 1 spot by the end of the year – if he stays healthy throughout the season .

2) First Grand Slam title? If yes, then most likely on the ATP Tour Jannik Sinner on hard court or Holger Rune on clay. On the WTA circuit, I am not expecting a new champion.
3) In the top 10 for the first time? Tommy Paul and Qinwen Zheng.
4) Who will finish number 1 in 2024? Carlos Alcaraz, because he is now experienced enough to dominate, and Iga Swiatek, because she has fewer points to defend than last year.
5b) Better progress in Germany? Daniel Altmaier and Dominik Koepfer could have more success on the ATP Tour. Henri Squire and Marko Topo on the lower circuits – as well as Eva Lys and Ella Seidel, who could make a bit of noise on the WTA circuit.

4) Who will finish number 1 in 2024? It depends on Novak Djokovic’s schedule, he won three of the four Grand Slams last year and had to fight at the end of the season to still be number 1 at the end of the year. If he plays more Masters and more tournaments, I would say it will be him. Otherwise, I have to join Carlos Alcaraz, who wins a lot of tournaments and plays a lot more when he is healthy.
Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will likely still be neck and neck in 2024.

And it will be Iga Swiatek, because she remains, in my opinion, the most consistent player.
5b) Who will succeed in breaking through? Linda Noskova, who I expect to be in the top 30, and Brenda Fruhvirtova, who should reach the top 100, her first victories in the main rounds of the Grand Slams and perhaps a first WTA quarter-final which would be great. Jakub Mensik is progressing well, I expect him to make a difference this year at the ATP level, he has already reached the third round of the US Open 2023 and represents a great challenge on the Challenger circuit.
