Maristella Perizzolo (Avigliana Rebels), manager of the Italian U15 national team and Lorena Cerami (Porta Mortara Novara), technical manager of the CR FIBS Piemonte U13 Little League Softball Representative, are the finalists of the award “Coach of the Year 2023“.
It will therefore be the two Piedmontese coaches who will compete for the important recognition reserved for Italian softball coaches, which will be awarded during the CON-X and which will be held from 26 to 28 January at the Pala Congressi in Rimini.
They arrive at the final ballot with the following voting percentages: Perizzolo 29%, Cerami 27%, Pizzolini 25%, Dall’Alpi 15%, Alvisi 4% (official source FIBS CNT).

If for Maristella Perizzolo it is confirmation of the professional path followed up to now made up of important successes with clubs and national youth teams, she has already won the 2018 award, for Lorena Cerami it is an absolute novelty, an important representative of the Piedmontese youth movement, given which ousted Federico Pizzolini head coach of the Italian National Elite Softball team from the final ballot.
