According to a report from Téléfoot, French champions PSG want to strengthen themselves in the summer with Portuguese international Rafael Leão from AC Milan. The driving force is Paris advisor Luis Campos, who knows the tricky winger from their time together at OSC Lille.
PSG massively rebuilt its offensive before this season after the departures of Lionel Messi (36, Inter Miami) and Neymar (31, Al-Hilal) and brought in Randal Kolo Muani, Gonçalo Ramos, Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé and Marco Asensio, among others.
Nevertheless, another top-class attacker is expected to be signed in the summer, especially given the uncertain future of superstar Kylian Mbappé. Leão is said to be the preferred candidate. The attacker already knows about the interest from the French capital and is thinking about a transfer.
Leão’s contract with Milan, which runs until 2028, is said to include a fixed transfer fee of 175 million euros. In addition to the Parisians, according to Téléfoot, English first division club Newcastle United is also interested in the 23-year-old.
