Classes for middle school students, various sports competitions and rifle games will be offered this new season by the judo club.
The meeting of the La Guerche-sur-l’Aubois judo club took place under the presidency of Marc Pesnon and in the presence of Solange Moreau and Christine Combémorel, deputy mayors.
After a word of welcome, the president returned to the 2022/2023 season which was busy with the implementation of actions at the Maurice-Genevoix school, the Claude-Debussy college of the commune and the school of Chautay.
Interventions at school and college
These workshops were attended by one hundred and twenty-five schoolchildren and one hundred and twenty-nine college students.
2023 was also marked by the chick-minimes groupings in Dun-sur-Auron, chicks in Saint-Amand-Montrond and chicks-minimes in Vierzon, as well as by the graduation ceremony.
Regarding 2023 investments, the club has acquired carpets.
The club has one hundred and ten members and the objectives for the season are collaboration, like last year, with the Claude-Debussy college.
Athletes will also participate in departmental, interdepartmental and regional groups and the belt test will be prepared. The graduation ceremony will be on Friday July 5.
On the more fun side, rifle games will be offered on Sunday March 10, as well as Sunday October 13.
Finally, the year will end with a Christmas snack which will be offered on a Friday, during December; the date is not yet defined.
Lessons
Judo classes are given: Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. for medium judo and from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for adolescents and adults; Thursday, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., taiso classes; Friday, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., baby judo, then, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., medium judo, and from 7:45 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., session for adolescents and adults.
