Exciting Matches at ATP 250 Montpellier: Mmoh, Paire, and Martinez Shine on Day One

The first day of the ATP 250 in Montpellier ended a little while ago. They were played today on French hard courts the first three matches valid for the first round and the show was certainly not lacking: let’s go and see everything that happened.

Michael Mmoh won in the first match of the day: the American born in 1998 played an excellent match against the owner Benjamin Bonzi and won 6-3 7-5 in an hour and 36 minutes of play. Now in the next round for the stars and stripes tennis player there will be the winner of the match between the transalpines Alexandre Muller (no. 7 of the tournament) and Antoine Escoffier.

Then the Frenchman Benoit Paire did well, who surprisingly defeated the British Andy Murray (seeded n.5) comeback 2-6 7-6(5) 6-3 in two hours and 43 minutes and have thus reached the round of 16, where the winner of the transalpine derby between Harold Mayot and Lucas Pouille. In the end, in the last match today the Spaniard Pedro Martinez he beat his compatriot Jaume Munar 6-4 7-5 and therefore earned the pass for the eighth against the Croatian Borna Coric (n.4 del seeding).
