Game action from the U12 Winter League Tournament in Bologna

The 2024 Winter League, which officially began last December 3 in Bologna, is also ready to start in Veneto. In fact, at the San Martino Buon Albergo venue, the U12 Veneto group will start from tomorrow until 11 February with 6 teams at the starting line: San Martino Junior, Azzurra Villafranca, BT Verona, Phoenix, Pool 77 Bolzano and Crazy Sanbonifacese.
The 6 teams will be divided into 2 groups and the top 2 in each group will compete in the semi-finals and finals on February 25th which will establish the team that will then access the national final phase.
All the matches in the “Veneto'” group will be played in the gym of the ”Barbarani” middle school in via Bentegodi in San Martino Buon Albergo.
In the Bologna venue, meanwhile, Pianoro (2-0) and Ravenna (3-0) remain undefeated in the U12 category, awaiting the clash between the two leaders on February 4th. Athletics and Castenaso are chasing (1-1), while Fortitudo is still chasing their first victory.
In the U15 category, however, Torre Pedrera is looking down on everyone with 2 wins in as many matches ahead of Ravenna (3-1) whose only defeat, at the moment, came against the league leaders. Godo is in third place with a 1-1 record while Athletics and Rovigo are still without wins.
After Bologna and San Martino Buon Albergo, the Winter League will soon also start in Cervignano and Trento.
