Euro 2024: M6 will broadcast the final, TF1 the best half

The countdown to Euro 2024 has begun on TF1 and M 6. Between June 14 and July 14, the two channels will offer live and unencrypted 25 of the 51 matches in the competition. The two groups shared the matches this Wednesday, January 24 during a draw. As for the 2016 and 2021 editions, it is M 6 which will broadcast the final, whether there are Didier Deschamps’ Blues or not.

La Six will schedule 13 meetings in total. 7 group matches, all scheduled for 9 p.m., including Netherlands-France, on Friday June 21, but also the clash the day before between Spain and Italy. The channel directed by Nicolas de Tavernost will offer two round of 16 finals, two quarter-finals, including that of the French team if they qualify, and a semi-final.

The opening match on TF1

TF1 is not harmed since in the ideal scenario it will have one more match from the French team, two of which are safe and certain, even in the event of a disaster scenario with the premature elimination of the vice-world champions. La Une will broadcast two group matches including Austria – France on Monday June 17 as well as the last potentially decisive meeting. In the group stage, the tandem Grégoire Margotton and Bixente Lizarazu will also commentate on the opening match Germany – Scotland and the highly anticipated Croatia – Italy. The Bouygues group channel will offer three round of 16 matches including the first choice, two quarter-finals, and the semi-final of its choice.

The two groups expect to see their audiences soar as the epic of Kylian Mbappé and his friends progresses. In the meantime, TF1 will offer, alone, all the preparation matches for Didier Deschamps’ team.
