In 2024, France and Paris will live to the rhythm of the Olympic Games. The French Blood Establishment (EFS) seized this opportunity to attract new donors by launching its Donation Marathon.
The establishment is indeed preparing for this very special period in order to guarantee the continuity of activity and the supply of blood products throughout the event and to anticipate any situation which could impact the collection of blood products. For several months, clubs and sports federations have joined forces with the structure to promote blood donation and raise awareness among a new audience.
It is within this framework that the blood collection takes place in partnership with Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc handball, the first national event of this Donation Marathon. The flagship club of Savoyard handball and one of the very best in France, which supports the EFS with the provision of its premises and the mobilization of its entire team, will welcome donors to its premises at the Groupama academy, Thursday January 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. “The fruit of an initiative by the Chambéry club, this collection is of vital importance for the sick, like all the donations organized in the region,” insisted Chambéry Savoie Mont Blanc.
