The date for Dominic Thiem’s opening game at the Australian Open has been set.
The Lichtenwörther native will play his first round match against the Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime (ATP 27th) at the end of the night session next Monday, rounding off the tournament day in the Margaret Court Arena.
The game should start around 10:30 a.m. CET (in the LIVE ticker and on ServusTV).
Ofner in action on Tuesday
Before that, local hero Alex de Minaur (AUS/ATP-10th) comes to his first tough test against Milos Raonic (CAN/ATP-317th) in the Rod Laver Arena.
The events of the first evening of the tournament will be opened by the ladies. Last year’s winner Ons Jabeur (TUN/WTA-6th) will face Ukrainian qualifier Yuliia Starodubtseva (WTA-152nd).
Sebastian Ofner will play his first round match against Australian local hero Thanasi Kokkinakis on Tuesday. The games for that day have not yet been officially scheduled.
