Doc Rivers’ Milwaukee Bucks coaching staff is taking shape. The first assistant, The Athletic reports, will be Dave Joerger, former head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies and Sacramento Kings. From 2020 to 2023 he was Rivers’ assistant at the Philadelphia 76ers. Also on the bench will be Rex Kalamian, coach since 1990 with various experiences in the NBA: he served as assistant at the Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Oklahoma City Thunder, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings and Detroit Pistons, while most recently serving in a role at the Nets as a scout. Since 2022 he has been at the helm of the Armenian national team.
