Dennis Schröder and Toronto Raptors Struggling in the NBA

Things aren’t going well for Dennis Schröder at the moment (AL BELLO)

Basketball world champion Dennis Schröder and his Toronto Raptors just can’t get going in the NBA. After their last win against the Miami Heat, the Raptors now lost at home against the Chicago Bulls 110:116. Right at the start of the game, Schröder and Co. failed to score from distance nine times in a row.

“We missed six or seven threes in a row that would have been good shots – and that affected our defense,” Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic said. Schröder also only managed seven points, while Toronto center Jakob Poeltl missed his sixth straight game due to a sprained left ankle. With 16 wins and 26 losses, the Raptors remain 12th among 15 teams in the East.

Things went better again for Isaiah Hartenstein, the center won with the New York Knicks against the Washington Wizards 113:109. Hartenstein dominated with 17 rebounds and six points. Point guard Jalen Brunson also had an outstanding performance with 41 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. As fifth in the East, the Knicks are clearly on course for the playoffs.
