Robin Koch will stay at Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the end of the season. The defense chief, who was previously on loan, signs with the Hessians until 2027.
Eintracht Frankfurt can continue to rely on Robin Koch’s services in the future. As the club announced on Tuesday, Koch has signed a contract with the Hessians until 2027. Koch came to Frankfurt from Leeds on loan before the season. Because his contract on the island expires in the summer, no transfer fee is due.
“I am very satisfied with the first half of the year at Eintracht, I have a lot of fun every day and feel incredibly comfortable here. Everything is as I had hoped,” Koch was quoted as saying in a club report. “It is therefore the logical consequence for me and my career that I extend my contract beyond the loan period. I want to continue to move forward here with responsibility and, above all, be successful. I am really looking forward to the future and an exciting second half of the season.”

The eight-time national player Koch immediately became a top performer and leader in Frankfurt and played 23 competitive games for the Hessians this season, and also led the team onto the pitch as captain. With his good performances, he also played his way back into the attention of the national team; only a calf injury prevented his first nomination since 2021 in November.
