“FbŠ Bohemians”, who have been very unconvincing throughout the season, unable to break into the top six of the tournament table, played perhaps their most successful game of the season. Although “Vitkovice” managed to get closer to their opponents from a 3:5 deficit at the end of the match, five minutes before the end of the regular time they were still in the chase, and were unable to score the equalizer, playing six to five. Daniel Mook did a great job for the winners, stopping 25 shots, while Czech goalkeeper Lukasz Soucek managed to save just six of 11 shots in the game.
The failure of the Ostrava team was quickly used by the title holders “Tatran Strešovice”, who defeated another team from the capital “Black Angels” with the score of 13:7, taking over the leader’s position in the table. Already in the first period, the teams scored seven goals and, although the result was tied at 2:2, at the break the teams went to 5:2 in favor of the guests. In the continuation of the match, “Tatran” broke away and achieved an easy success.. Matejs Havlaš stood out with four goals.
The in-form ACEMA Sparta Praha stalwarts also started the away game against FBC Liberec, leading 2-0 after the first period and at the time it looked like a repeat of the 12-6 result that saw the Prague side win the first leg. However, this time everything turned out quite differently, because after the second period the hosts were already in the lead 4:3. In the last period, the home team not only protected, but even increased their advantage, achieving success with the result 7:5. Pat Chlad played an excellent game in goal for the home team, stopping 36 shots from the opponents, receiving the award for the best floorball player of his team.
Not as devastating as usual in the last games, but “Predvyber.CZ Florbal MB” recorded the next three points in the table, which defeated “Fat Pipe Florbal Chodov” 7:4 on the road, who had the same points in the tournament table before the game. Already in the first period, after the precise shots of Jakub Varečka, Adam Delong and Daniel Šebek, the guests gained a three-goal lead, and in the second period they also took a 4-0 lead. Until the break, the hosts scored one goal, were even more efficient in the third period, but could not stop the triumphant march of the “Mlada Boleslav” team.
In the battle of two mid-table teams, “FBC ČPP Bystron Group Ostrava” unexpectedly convincingly beat their table neighbors “FBC 4CLEAN Česka Lipa” with a score of 9:3. In the first third, the home team laid the foundation for a successful outcome of the game with two accurate shots, but in the second period, almost half of the fighting time, the team was unable to score effective shots. Then the guests earned a four-minute rejection, which the home team turned into a goal after only six seconds, starting a powerful breakthrough, reaching a 7-2 lead after two periods, and winning the entire game 9-3. Already in the second period, Daniel Chartney scored a hat-trick.
On the other hand, the battle between the teams from the bottom of the table between “Butchis” and “Hurricane” did not determine the winner in 60 minutes. Although the hosts and newcomers to Ekstraliga managed to score only one goal in 40 minutes, the rivals were not far behind, allowing to stand out only once more. The teams worked more productively in the final period, after which a draw of 3:3 was recorded. No goals were scored in extra time, but the visitors were superior in the post-game shootout, thus gaining a valuable bonus point.
