CUORGNÈ – This time it is the discipline of archery to give another double satisfaction to the Canavese sport. The credit goes to Andrea Fenoglio Gaddò from Cuorgnate, who, to best celebrate his 16th birthday, which he turned a few days ago, decided to give himself a nice gift over the weekend, namely the regional Allievi title in the compound specialty, as well as the medal of the most precious metal in the team competition.
Followed by his father Mauro (who introduced him to this sport) and by the technical-instructor Noemi Matzutzi, ours, who defends the colors of the Arcieri Iuvenilia company of Turin, showed his preparation and his skill during the Piedmontese competitions which were held at the Fitarco plant in Cantalupa.
The trip to the Pinerolo area saw Andrea, as anticipated, climb to the top step of the podium in his category, a result which among other things allows him to maintain second place in the national ranking.
Same story in the team test, in this case together with teammates Marco Morello and Matteo De Paoli, while in the overall competition, after various clashes, he finished in sixth position.
