Cowboys Set Sights on NFC East Title, Pro Bowl Honors, and Super Bowl Berth

FRISCO, Texas – From a team standpoint, the Cowboys know what awaits them this weekend, with a chance to win the NFC East and claim the second playoff spot.

Individually, some players received one of the highest honors possible when seven Cowboys were named to the 2024 Pro Bowl roster.

Of those seven, two did it for the first time, as kicker Brandon Aubrey and cornerback DaRon Bland set NFL records this season en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

They are joined by some familiar faces, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, who makes his first Pro Bowl since 2018 and third overall. Guard Zack Martin was named to his ninth Pro Bowl, CeeDee Lamb made it for the third time, as did Micah Parsons and punter Bryan Anger returns to the Pro Bowl for the second time in his career.

Last year, the Cowboys finished with eight Pro Bowlers, and once again they could reach or even surpass that number, depending on the alternates.

The Pro Bowl will return to Orlando this year, and while there is no actual game, the Pro Bowl Games event consists of AFC-NFC competitions, ranging from a variety of skills challenges to concluding with a competitive flag football game .

Of course, right now, Cowboys players are hoping not to attend, which would mean they would be advancing to the Super Bowl, which will be played the following week.
