The silver medalist at the Atlanta 96 Olympic Games Ernesto Pérez Lobo denounces irregularities: “We have been president of the Federation for 40 years with the same family. In the 1980s, the Madrid Federation was created and its first president was Francisco Valcárcel. When he retired, his nephew succeeded him; now his ex-wife is president.”
“In a Federation there must be free elections, so that anyone can run,” he says. Perez Lobowhich calls for “a clean electoral process, we want to vote without cheating.”
