Badminton and free pickleball activities begin

The City of Shawinigan informs citizens that the activities of badminton libre and of pickleball libre will be offered from Monday November 8 for people aged 16 or over.

HOURLY

Badminton libreat secondary school Val-Mauricie : Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 7:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Badminton libreat secondary school of the rock : Tuesday and Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Pickleball libreat secondary school Val-Mauricie : Wednesday, 7:45 p.m. to 10 p.m.


COSTS

At a time : $5 resident; $10 non-residents (payment in cash, on site)
10 entry access card : $25 resident; $50 non-resident (online payment*)
20 entry access card (badminton only): $50 resident; $100 non-resident (online payment*)

*To obtain an access card for 10 or 20 entries, you must register online and make payment on the registration platform, accessible at shawinigan.ca/programmation. During your first visit, bring your receipt to collect your access card.

All participants must present their vaccination passport as well as a valid ID (e.g.: driving license, health insurance card or student card). Access to these activities will be refused to people who do not present the necessary proof as well as to anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 or shows symptoms. A maximum of 25 people will be admitted at a time, on the principle of “first come, first served”. Public Health instructions must be respected at all times (physical distancing and wearing a mask until the time to practice the activity).
