Chiefs Secure Eighth Consecutive Division Title with Victory over Bengals

KANSAS CITY – Harrison Butker made no fewer than six field goals and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 25-17 on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.

This victory allows the Chiefs (10-6) to secure an eighth consecutive division title in the West of the American Association.

This defeat ends the hopes of reaching the playoffs for the Bengals (8-8). Jake Browning completed 19 of 33 passes for 197 yards. He threw a touchdown pass to Joe Mixon.

Isiah Pacheco had 130 yards rushing, in addition to adding seven receptions for 35 yards. He caught Patrick Mahomes’ only touchdown pass in the game in the first quarter.

Mahomes once again struggled with his pass catchers on Sunday against the Bengals. Marquez Valdes-Scantling once again missed an easy pass thrown in his direction. Travis Kelce was limited to three receptions for 16 yards. He was targeted four times by his quarterback.

Kelce is having his worst streak since Mahomes was his quarterback. He hasn’t reached the end zone in his last six games. In his last three games, he has only amassed 29.3 yards per game.

The Steelers can still dream of the playoffs

Najee Harris had the best game of his season with 122 rushing yards and two touchdowns and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Seattle Seahawks 30 to 23.

Harris still hadn’t rushed for 100 yards this season. He was very efficient with an average of 4.5 yards per carry.

The Steelers (9-7) dominated the Seahawks (8-8) with their ground attack by amassing 202 yards. Jaylen Warren added 75 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries and the Steelers can still make the playoffs with a win and a little help next week.

In his second start of the season, Mason Rudolph had another good game to earn his second straight start. He completed 18 of his 24 passes for gains of 274 yards.

George Pickens was his favorite target with seven receptions and 131 yards. Pickens was dominant last week in the Steelers’ crushing victory over the Bengals with 195 yards and two touchdowns.

The Seahawks still have the seventh and final playoff spot before Sunday night’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers.

Geno Smith threw for 290 yards and a touchdown in the loss. DK Metcalf caught five balls for 106 yards.

The Broncos win a game without flavor and without Wilson

With Russell Wilson at the end of the bench, the Denver Broncos beat the Los Angeles Charges 16-9 on Sunday night.

Jarret Stidham threw for 224 yards and a touchdown pass in his first start of the season. Stidham signed his first career victory as a starter in the NFL.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey scored a spectacular 54-yard touchdown for the Broncos (8-8), who were without Courtland Sutton and Marvin Mims Jr for this game.

The Broncos defense was solid in this game. The Chargers (5-11) made just two of their 11 third downs.

Despite the victory, the Broncos saw their playoff chances disappear with Kansas City’s victory over Cincinnati. The Broncos haven’t made the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl in 2016.
