Chicago Bears Seek Interview with Marcus Brady for Offensive Coordinator Position

The Chicago Bears have requested an interview with Philadelphia Eagles offensive assistant Marcus Brady for the vacant offensive coordinator position, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.

Brady, who is 44 years old, previously served as offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts.

A quarterback during his professional playing career, Brady played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts, Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Montreal Alouettes, from 2002 to 2008. He then won three Gray Cups within the coaching staffs of the Alouettes and Argonauts.

Brady made the jump to the NFL in 2017 as an assistant quarterbacks coach before being promoted to offensive coordinator in 2021 under Frank Reich after then-offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni took the job with the Eagles. Brady was fired on November 1, 2022.
He joined the Eagles last February.

The Bears have been searching for a new offensive coordinator since firing Luke Getsy after two seasons earlier this month.
