During the New Year’s reception, the CD&V board Pepingen presented a check for 1,078 euros to a delegation of board and G-athletes from G-sport Pajottenland vzw.
“Every year we choose a charity or social project to which the raffle proceeds from our spring food festival are donated. Last year we chose G-sport Pajottenland vzw. This non-profit organization wants to offer an adapted sports offering to all people with an intellectual disability in the Pajottenland region. Together with a number of partner clubs, they offer G-badminton, G-football, G-dance and G-athletics,” explains CD&V chairman Suzanne De Cort.
In previous years, CD&V Pepingen donated an amount to the MS League, support for Haiti, health care in Groot-Pepingen, blood donors in Groot-Pepingen, Smile to me! non-profit organization, Hospital Clowns, WZC Vander Stokken and WZC Mater Dei, non-profit organization I live on and Care Circle for Young Dementia.
The next CD&V Pepingen food festival will be held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2024.
