The CD Arco Club Malaka gave a day this morning to promote archery and in which the 5th and 6th grade students of the CEIP Ntra. Sra. de los Remedios participated. This activity has been carried out in one of the pavilions of the Sports City.
The Sports Councilor of the City Council of CartamaJuan Antonio Vargas attended this event and announced that CD Arco Club Malaka plans to hold this promotional event in other educational centers in the municipality.
The members of the club explained to the schoolchildren basic notions of this sport such as how to hold the bow, body posture, the equipment that an archer must have, the safety measures to take into account and helped them perform the shots. In addition, the students were able to put into practice the knowledge they acquired by performing some shots with Apache-type bows.
