Cardenales de Lara Set for Victory as they Close in on LVBP Title

The agonizing victory of Cardenales de Lara, on Friday against Bravos de Margarita, left them with one foot in the final and one step away from crowning a brilliant comeback, since in the last 11 games their record is 9-2.

Outfielder Gorkys Hernández, one of the club’s offensive leaders, assured that they never doubted their ability to recover from the 0-4 start and, now more than ever, they are focused on going to the end.

“No one gives up here, my people, humbly and with the desire to continue working hard and never give up, we go out on the field to demonstrate,” the outfielder wrote on the Cardenales social networks.

“We are prepared and positive to move forward,” added the man from Güiria, who is playing his 14th season in the LVBP, his fourth in the twilight uniform.

Cardenales is one win away from advancing to the Grand Final, where the brave Sharks of La Guaira await them.
