The Sports Institute of the State of Aguascalientes invites young athletes aged 5 years and older to participate in the state judo pre-selection towards the Conade 2024 National Games in its various categories, on Sunday, January 21 at the Poliforum Municipal de Calvillo.
This exciting process seeks the most outstanding representatives of the state to compete at the national level, promoting local talent and strengthening the presence of Aguascalientes in the sports field.
There will be registrations up to 30 minutes before the official weigh-in of each stage, with a symbolic cost of $50.00 (fifty pesos) to cover the costs of the competition. The sports community is invited to participate and witness the passion and skill of the athletes in this challenging qualification process.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight that participants must compete only in the category corresponding to their age and year of birth, without the possibility of changing or participating in lower or higher categories. All athletes qualified for the state stage must hold at least the rank of Yon Kyu (orange ribbon). Proof of affiliation to any National Sports Federation or National Sports Association is not required to be presented during the qualification process.
As for coaches and delegates, it is necessary that they be included in the registration card and endorsed by the Municipal Body of Physical Culture and Sports. Those who are part of the competition staff of the Aguascalientes state judo team must have completed and accredited a certification or diploma course in sports training with a minimum duration of 20 hours. Before registering for the national final stage, they must present certification of having passed a course on the Adel by WADA platform.
