Freund wants to complete the deal with the full-back next week at the latest, as there is already a verbal agreement with Mukiele. According to a report in “Bild”, Mukiele himself spoke to Paris sports manager Luís Campos and made it clear that he wanted to move to the German record champions. Since then, PSG is said to be ready to negotiate with Bayern.
Just a few days ago, Freund made it clear that “the transfer period is not over yet,” as he said at the official introduction of new signing Dier on Friday. And further: “The priority was that we strengthen ourselves in the last line.” The Englishman is currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.
