Brooklyn Nets Management Eyeing Reinforcements Before Transfer Deadline

Although it may seem otherwise, according to journalist Brian Windhorst of ESPNthe Brooklyn Nets management is crazy about getting reinforcements before the transfer deadline (next February 8).

Sean Marks is working hard to try to find signings for the team led by Jacques Vaughn, and among his most valuable assets is Dorian Finney-Smith, who has already been rumored to return to the Mavs discipline.

They would also have Spencer Dinwiddie on the starting ramp, who is finalizing a contract valued at 20 million, and also the names of Royce O’Neal or the promising Cam Thomas if they get something useful along the way.

The Nets project with Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson at the helm is not working, and since December 27, they have barely had a single win in 9 games played.

“At this moment I couldn’t tell you what the Nets are planning, but among NBA leaders they are being heard as possible buyers,” said the aforementioned Windhorst.

The New Yorkers do not have a first round in the upcoming 2024 Draft, which will go to the Rockets in the James Harden operation. On the contrary, they do have other firsts from the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks respectively.

They are currently eleventh in the Eastern Conference (17-24), located very close to the Atlanta Hawks (18-23) and the Chicago Bulls (20-23) in the fight for play-in positions.
