Members of the three Lelystad bridge clubs BCL’58, BC POLDER and BC Sans Fumare gave a demonstration of the card game in the Kroonpassage on Saturday.
Passers-by could watch the bidding and play, ask questions about why bridge is so much fun (answer: ‘good for contacts and good for the brain’), and get a taste of how an introduction to the game works.
Get to know bridge in the library
This bridge demonstration was a precursor to the bridge introductory meetings that the library in Lelystad holds. On Thursday afternoon January 18, Thursday evening February 8 and Saturday afternoon February 10, the basics of the bridge game will be explained in Jip-en-Janneke language over two hours.
