Baxi Ferrol started the second round of the Endesa League with a defeat on their home field against Casademont Zaragoza, one of the best teams in the category, located at the top of the classification.

The Maas dominated the first quarter of the match, which ended with a score of 10-18, although the Ferrolanas closed the gap in the second quarter and went into halftime with a score of 30-35 in favor of the visiting team.
As usual, Lino López’s team got stronger as the match progressed. They played a third quarter at a high level, in which they gained a six-point lead, so they reached the decisive moment with a 54-53 lead.
In the last quarter of the match the two teams defended at a high level, although both showed fatigue, especially the Ferrolanas after a tough return from Basque lands.
Finally, victory fell to the Mao side, by just two points difference. One more game Gala Mestres and Rachel Howard were once again the top scorers for the Ferrol team.
