Badminton Veterans Masters Tournament to Take Place in Quimperlé

One of the major annual meetings for bad players over 35 years old will take place this Saturday January 20 and Sunday January 21, 2024, in the Salle des Cordiers, in Quimperlé, on the occasion of the fourth Veterans Masters organized by the Badminton club Kemperle (BCK). Divided into 19 singles, doubles and mixed doubles tables, 144 players from 38 clubs from the five Breton departments will take part in the event.

The BCK is mobilizing its volunteers from this Friday, January 19 to prepare the room. “There will be 31 players from the club who participated in the tournament, with a desire to do well and get on the podiums,” underlines Jacky Hamoniaux, president of BCK. Saturday will see matches continue from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday’s final day will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the awards ceremony scheduled for around 4 p.m.

At the same time, 44 young people will go to Relecq-Kerhuon to defend the colors of BCK at the Finistère youth championship, with many medals expected.
