Asti Archers Shine at Regional Championships: Multiple Podium Finishes

Last Sunday in Cantalupa, organized by the Juvenilia company, the regional archery championships were held. There are 16 archers from Asti who participated in the regional championships and many of them reached the podium both individually and as a team.

The Astarco Archers present themselves with 6 athletes:
Pietro Roagna in the Arco Nudo category for children achieved a splendid 3rd place in the category with 451 points
Arossa Fabrizio with 507 points comes 18th in the men’s Olympic Master category
Also in the Olympic Masters, Moscatiello Massimo is 15th with 509 points
In the Senior men’s bare bow category Dincalci Leonardo is 13th with 479, Vassarotti Stefano is 16th with 469 and Pescatori Andrea 23rd with 451 points.

The archers of Cantarana sided with:
Alessandro Paesante (in the photo) in the very young category of the Olympic arch division wins the regional title with 548 points
Valeria Milito Senior Women is 8th with 515 in the senior Olympic arch category.
Massimo Musso in the Compound Master category is 13th with 539 points
Stefano Vettore ranks 16th in the Olympic Masters
Cristian Paesante scores 429 points in the senior Olympics.

As usual the “Marengos Family” of the Arceri delle Alpi takes the podiums,
Marengo Roberto wins the individual bronze in the men’s Olympic Master with 548 points, and wins the regional team title in the relevant category.
Marengo Giada is also no exception, winning an individual silver in the girls Olympic with 541 and also winning the team bronze in the overall ranking.
Again for the archers of the Alps, Simone Dezani brings home 3 medals, is 2nd in the Junior Olympic class with 556 points, wins the regional team championship in the category and also wins a beautiful team silver in the overall ranking.

For the Clarascum archers, Arossa Leonardo ranked 5th individually in the boys Olympic class with 497 points, winning the regional team class title.

Finally, Atzeni Patrizia, who from this year shoots for the archers of the Biella Prealps, ranks 11th in the Olympic Master category.

Now the most important event of 2024 for the indoor season, the Italian Championships will take place in mid-February in Pordenone, where we hope to see many people from Asti participate and do well.
