Arthur Van den Boer Dominates Juniors to Secure Third Belgian Title

Arthur Van den Boer had already made an impression with the newcomers in recent years and he continued that trend with the juniors this season.

Van den Boer therefore established himself as the top favorite, although we saw in the women’s juniors with Shanyl De Schoesitter that this is no guarantee of success.

Just like De Schoesitter, Van den Boer flew in from the start. On a hill he bluffed his competitors, they had to recover both mentally and physically from that blow.

At the finish after the first lap, Van den Boer already had a lead of more than 20 seconds.

Keano Geens made a brave attempt to take up the challenge. He even came closer to Van den Boer, but blew up his engine a bit.

Jasper Schoofs had a better classification and passed Geens in the last round, who was left with the bronze.

For Van den Boer it is the third Belgian title in a row. Only Eli Iserbyt, like Van den Boer, was able to score immediately as a first-year junior after 2 titles with the newcomers.
