Arthur Cazaux titled, Lucas Pouille forced to abandon

Three French players were entered on Saturday in the final of two Challenger tournaments, on the other side of the world. In Nouméa (New Caledonia), Arthur Cazaux had no difficulty beating Enzo Couacaud, whom he outclassed 6-1, 6-1, in 51 minutes. Thanks to this success, he will climb to 108th in the world on Monday, thus obtaining his best ranking. Remember that he will directly enter the final draw of the Australian Open (January 14-28), thanks to a wild card.

For his part, Lucas Pouille (today 329th in the world) failed to win his first professional title in five years, at the ATP 75 in Nonthaburi (Thailand). Facing Monegasque Valentin Vacherot (280th), the Northerner was forced to retire after five games and only 33 minutes (2-3, ab.).
