Argentina defeated Chile 5-0 on Tuesday’s South American Olympic Qualifiers, ensuring its place in the final quadrangular and with the result Paraguay also qualified.
The albiceleste had no mercy against the red team and scored with authority. In the 45th minute, Thiago Almada scored the first goal, taking advantage of a rebound from the Chilean goalkeeper, after a hard shot by Santiago Castro.

Almada once again showed his world champion badge by scoring 2-0 in the 57th minute from the penalty spot and setting up Santiago Castro who made it 3-0 in the 61st minute.
Aaron Quirós in the 79th minute and Luciano Gondou in the 91st minute rounded off the Albiceleste victory.
With this result, Argentina reaches seven points and equals first place in Group B with Paraguay. Both teams secured their qualification for the final round, leaving Uruguay, Peru and Chile eliminated.
