Antoine Dupont in training at Marcoussis for his first steps with the French 7s team

Antoine Dupont’s participation in the 2024 Paris Olympics is starting to take shape. The captain of the French XV, officially on the list of players called to prepare for next summer’s big event within the French 7s team, is taking part in an internship in Marcoussis at the start of the year. For the moment, this is simply a first contact with the group, since the Toulouse resident only stays until Wednesday.

A first tournament in February

The serious things will really begin in February. Three days after the Blues’ first match in the Six Nations Tournament (February 2 in Marseille against Ireland), a competition which he gave up for his Olympic ambition, Antoine Dupont will join the group for a first full training camp.
