On his thirteenth visit to the state of Zacatecas, Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced a minimum salary of 16 thousand pesos per month for male and female teachers, with no date for state systems.
Likewise, he boasted about the strength of the peso and having a larger budget for paying taxes.
He reiterated the commitment to continue supporting the government of Zacatecas with an additional two billion to guarantee the salary of the state’s teachers.
“We are going to continue cleaning Mexico of corruption,” said the president of Mexico, stating that it has been possible to have more budget without increasing taxes, without gasoline, without putting the country into debt, “because now we all pay taxes.”
The president of the nation said that for this reason he reformed article 28 of the Constitution, “to cancel the tax forgiveness. They had us fooled, they said there was no budget because street vendors don’t pay taxes, that’s what the corrupt people said.”

Likewise, Andrés Manuel López Obrador pointed out that he once called a businessman to pay 12 billion pesos in taxes, “the third part of the Zacatecas budget, which is 36 billion pesos.”

At constitutional level, no one earns more than the President
He announced that he will send a constitutional reform initiative so that no one earns more than the income of the President of the Republic.
The president also said that the Presidency had a budget of three thousand 600 million pesos “because the president was cared for by eight thousand members of the Presidential General Staff, they are no longer there, they have already gone to the Ministry of Defense, the president is cared for by the people”, which has represented three thousand 100 million savings “and the presidency continues to function.”
He reproached the fact that the judges of the Judiciary are earning four times more than he did as President of the Republic.
Superweight
On the other hand, he pointed out that Mexico is the country in the world with the strongest currency in relation to the dollar.
“Our peso has not been devalued, it is a superweight,” we have not seen that in a long time, also how a lot of foreign investment is arriving, we can say that there is full employment in Mexico, we are one of the three countries in the world with the least unemployment.

And he thanked the migrants for sending remittances to strengthen the Mexican economy, saying that 63.2 billion dollars in remittances were received.
