The Altotevere Lions emerge victorious (58-53) after a very difficult match within friendly walls against Pallacanestro Ellera. Coach Anelli’s boys start very well thanks to a Calderini in a state of grace (2/2 from three points). At the end of the 1Q the guests’ lead was 12-13. In the 2nd quarter we witness the vehement reaction of the hosts who sign a counter-partial of 21-14 which calls the dispute back into question. After the long interval the match continues on a great balance where coach Ligi’s boys maintain control of the match (49-36 at the end of the 3rd quarter). In the final the Lions risked a harakiri where the guests unleashed a proud reaction by taking advantage of the serious defensive lapses and poor ball management by the yellow and blue; at the end of the match the hosts miraculously emerge victorious and gain 2 fundamental points.
