AC Milan easily dominates Cagliari in the Italian Cup

AC Milan did not go into detail this Tuesday against Cagliari in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup (4-1). Despite a largely overhauled eleven, after the leaders made the race for the Serie A podium a priority, the Rossonneri easily defeated the 18th in the Championship.

Luka Jovic scored a double in the first period, first from a cross (1-0, 29th), then by converting a caviar offered by Théo Hernandez after a 50-meter ride (2-0, 42nd). Chaka Traoré was responsible for sealing the victory with his first professional goal after a mix-up in the defense (3-0, 51st). At the very end of the match, Rafael Leao (90th + 1) responded to Paulo Azzi’s reduction in the score (3-1, 88th). Milan therefore continues its road to the quarter-finals, where it will meet the winner of the duel between Atalanta and Sassuolo.
