The neroverdi beat Fiorentina 1-0 thanks to Pinamonti’s goal after nine minutes, managing in the first half and resisting, thanks to the saves of an excellent Consigli, in the second half, when the Viola practically never appeared in the half of the field. Three goals against VAR were cancelled, two against Sassuolo, with Berardi and Thorstvedt, and one against Fiorentina, by Martinez Quarta. Consigli also saved a penalty from Bonaventura.
Despite the defeat, Fiorentina remains fourth, Sassuolo reaches Frosinone on 19 points.
