This initiative, a pillar of his electoral campaign, has materialized with the official opening of the calendar of the Municipal Institute of Recreation and Sports (IMRD).

Athletes from Chía, Cundinamarca, will go to Ferstival
One of the notable events that reflect this commitment is the active participation of the children’s delegation of Chia at the Medellín Festival of Festivals 2024.
Made up of 97 athletes and coaches, this delegation represents Chia in various disciplines.
It includes badminton, athletics, chess, cheerleading, men’s and women’s soccer, embodying the spirit of teamwork. In addition, it promotes values among the youth of the municipality.

The Festival of Festivals, started in 1984 with the creation of the Los Paisitas Sports Corporation, has been a fundamental pillar in the evolution of sports in Antioquia and the region.
