97 Athletes from Chía, Cundinamarca, to Participate in Festival of Festivals in Medellín

A total of 97 athletes from ChiaCundinamarca, will participate in the Festival of Festivals that will take place in the city of Medellín.

In the first five days of his administration, Mayor Leonardo Donoso has demonstrated firm commitment by supporting municipal sports delegations.

For this reason, the president announced measures to strengthen local sports and participation in high-level competitions.

This initiative, a pillar of his electoral campaign, has materialized with the official opening of the calendar of the Municipal Institute of Recreation and Sports (IMRD).

This marks the beginning of a period of activation and promotion of sporting talent in the community.

Athletes from Chía, Cundinamarca, will go to Ferstival

One of the notable events that reflect this commitment is the active participation of the children’s delegation of Chia at the Medellín Festival of Festivals 2024.

Made up of 97 athletes and coaches, this delegation represents Chia in various disciplines.

It includes badminton, athletics, chess, cheerleading, men’s and women’s soccer, embodying the spirit of teamwork. In addition, it promotes values ​​among the youth of the municipality.

The Festival of Festivals, started in 1984 with the creation of the Los Paisitas Sports Corporation, has been a fundamental pillar in the evolution of sports in Antioquia and the region.
