NFL Betting Predictions Week 18

Saturday January 6

Steelers vs Ravens (-3.5), 36.5

The Ravens no longer have anything to fight for, they probably feel many starters, and the Steelers are risking their lives, as underdogs, in a divisional and rivalry match, which we already know more times than not ends up being defined by three points or less. Give me Pittsburgh

Prediction: Ravens 20, Steelers 21 – HIGH

Very important game, because whichever of the two wins, enters the playoffs, either as division champion, if the Jaguars lose, or as a wild card if not. Whoever loses is left out. I think the X factor of this game is the Texans’ injuries: Andrew Beck, Robert Woods, Noah Brown, Maliek Collins, Laremy Tunsil, are just some of the names that are in doubt for this game.

Furthermore, Indianapolis’ dominance of Houston has been critical: the Texans have only won one game against the Colts in the last seven they have played.

Forecast: Colts 29Texans 27 – HIGH

Sunday, January 7, 12:00 pm

*Jets vs Patriots (-2.5), 30.5

The Patriots have a huge motivation to win this game, just like every year Belichick has led the team. The last three weeks, and really all year, New England’s defense has been pretty solid, even with losing its two best players: #3 in yards per play allowed, and remains as of late, with #6 in his last three games.

The Jets dropped to the #18 defense in their last three games due to their poor performances lately, but they also dropped from 4.5 to 5 yards per play allowed all season on the road.

Forecast: Patriots 17Jets 10 – LOSSES

Browns vs Bengals (-6), 39
