The badminton dream team’s team conducted the ‘2023 Dream Player Winter Camp Training’ at the Inje Multipurpose Gymnasium from the 15th to the 28th.
This training was hosted by the Korea Sports Council, organized by the Korea Badminton Association, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. Led by coach Kim Jong-hyuk, coaches Park Jun-hee, Kim Young-min, Lee Seung-hyun, Lee Gyeong-ok, Lee Eun-woo, and Kang Ga-yeon coached a total of 40 dream players (20 men and women each). Eight excellent players from the Korea Badminton Association (four men and four women) also trained together. During the training period, Kim Taek-gyu, president of the Korea Badminton Association, and Lee Yong-guk, president of the Korea Elementary School Badminton Federation, visited and encouraged the players.
Not only was it limited to skill improvement training, but through face-to-face training in conjunction with the Next Generation Sports Science Support Team of the Korea Institute of Sports Policy and Science, the physical strength and psychological part teams were guided to prevent injuries and overcome psychological conditions that may occur during the field. The coaches also conducted more efficient face-to-face training while managing players by section.
