A 69-year-old man was arrested in Cusano Milanino after hitting his wife at home with a baseball bat.
The Carabinieri of the Radio Mobile operational unit intervened yesterday afternoon, Saturday 2 December, in via Piemonte in Cusano Milanino to arrest a man on charges of aggravated injuries, threats and mistreatment against family members.
Wife hit by baseball bat admitted to Niguarda hospital
The victim, the man’s wife, is 64 years old and after the attack she was transported under yellow code to the Niguarda hospital. According to what was reconstructed by the police, it was not the first episode of violence by the man towards his spouse.
The Carabinieri intervened yesterday afternoon following a report from Areu 118 operators. Once in the apartment, the Carabinieri found the man who had hit the cohabiting woman with the baseball bat shortly before and arrested him.
