The results lived up to the ambitions displayed and the young people particularly stood out.

On Saturday December 9 and Sunday December 10, the archers from Val d’Ay went to their neighbors in Annonay to participate in the two days of federal competition organized by the local arch company. The results were largely satisfactory with several young people from the town on the podium.

In the adult section, Maryse Regal won her recurve competition. Jean-Jacques Commeau did the same in compound arch, followed by Bernard Martel and Gabriel Antressangle, the latter at the foot of the podium.

The young archers shone

The young people, for their part, shone in all their competitions. In the regional youth cup, Pauline Guironnet wins her competition, followed by Jérémie Nicolas. A remarkable double.

For their part, in the junior and junior archer sections, Titouan Cibaud Devise shoots the best arrow in his competition, and Louka Sassolas wins his competition, planned for level 2 archers. He thus reaches level 1, opening up the possibility for him to reach level 1. Access to a blue arrow possible.

At the end of this intense weekend, the archers return with very good news.

All these good results allow the Satillieu club to place third in the general team competition. Managers and coaches can be proud of the training work carried out over these many years.

They have a real breeding ground of young archers full of talent, who will be able to take over.
