The Jazz will have to face at least the next two weeks without Jordan Clarkson. The Salt Lake City franchise has announced that its player suffers from a strain in his right femoral biceps, an ailment that they will not examine again until the aforementioned 14 days have passed.

Although it was now that he was forced to stop permanently, the truth is that the injury began to show its face on November 27, when playing against the New Orleans Pelicans he already had problems in the affected area. Such a mishap has made him absent in three of Utah’s last seven games, but it will be now, after seeing how the injury worsened, when he will definitely have to remain in the dry dock for a reasonable amount of time.

As explained by the Jazz, it was an MRI that revealed that the condition has become more important than initially believed, which has forced the aforementioned measures to be taken.

Utah thus loses one of its most important players. Despite not being at last season’s level, Clarkson is averaging 16.6 points, 4.9 assists and 3.4 rebounds per night as a starter.
